Education and Background

An Oklahoma native, Dr. Patel grew up in the Oklahoma City area and is the younger of two sons. His education began in Norman, Oklahoma, where he attended the University of Oklahoma as an undergraduate before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

After graduation, Dr. Patel moved to the North Dallas area to practice implant and comprehensive family dentistry. Since joining Dental Depot DFW in 2007, he has remained committed to providing advanced, patient-focused dental care while helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

Advanced Training and Continuing Education

Staying up to date with the ever-changing field of dentistry and providing the latest advancements in healthcare to his patients is of utmost importance to Dr. Patel. Throughout his career, he has completed more than 1,100 hours of continuing education focused on implant dentistry and advanced treatment techniques. He remains committed to utilizing modern technology and evidence-based treatment approaches to deliver exceptional patient care.

Dr. Patel has extensive training in advanced digital imaging, including cone beam CT (CBCT) technology, intraoral 3D scanning, soft tissue laser treatment, guided implant procedures, and sophisticated digital X-ray systems. His dedication to excellence has earned him recognition as one of D Magazine’s “Best Dentists” in 2021.

Dental Implant Expertise

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Patel is passionate about education and professional development. He has taught more than 52 training courses for fellow dental professionals and regularly participates in continuing education programs focused on implant dentistry and comprehensive restorative care. His experience in implant treatment allows him to help patients restore function, aesthetics, and confidence through personalized treatment plans designed around their unique needs and goals.

Dr. Patel believes that patient education is one of the most important aspects of successful treatment. By taking the time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes, he helps patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their dental journey.

Life Outside the Office

In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys soccer, golf, volleyball, and going to the gym. He and his wife—the love of his life—are the proud parents of two children, Aryan and Naya, and a dog named Bam Bam. He considers himself fortunate to spend his life surrounded by family while helping patients improve their oral health and quality of life.
