Train Rides

Dental Depot Train Park
Our Train Park at Dental Depot Yukon features the Dental Depot Express, a miniature train with five passenger cars that can hold up to 10 riders! The train is open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the summer (weather permitting), and rides are free for the whole family. But, these fun rides would’t be possible without our four, fantastic conductors! Get to know them below and we look forward to seeing you at the Dental Depot Train Park!

Heather is a dental assistant here at Dental Depot Yukon and she works with Dr. Ty Mays. She’s been with us since 2014 and her favorite things in the world are her sons, her dogs and ice cream! Nothing makes Heather happier than the joy that children have when they see the trains in our offices for the first time. The only thing that’s better? The smiles on their faces when they actually get to ride the train! You’ll know it’s Heather coming around the tracks because she loves to sound the whistle.

Whitney is a patient care coordinator (PCC) for our hygiene team at Dental Depot Yukon. Whitney has been a staple at the Yukon office since 2014. She loves spending time with her son and her Great Danes. She also enjoys decorating the office for different holidays and seasons. Whitney can make anyone laugh and her positivity spreads around the office. Her favorite part of the train is that both kids and their parents can ride together. Whitney’s favorite train sound is the bell as she pulls into the station.

Lorna is a patient accounts service representative (PASR) at Dental Depot Yukon and has been with us since 2016. She handles billing questions and works with insurance companies to make sure our patients receive the benefits they are entitled to. Her favorite part of being a Dental Depot Express conductor is seeing how excited the riders are to go around the tracks. You know Lorna is having a great time when she sounds the horn as the train leaves the station. The best things in life for Lorna are her three cats, her boyfriend and her mom.

Janis is the assistant manager at Dental Depot Yukon and she’s been with Dental Depot since 2015. Her favorite things in the whole wide world are reading, spending time with her family and traveling. The motto at our Yukon office must be, “work hard, play hard.” Because for Janice, the best part of working at Dental Depot is that she can always count on her team members to lend a helping hand and to have fun while doing it. Her favorite part about driving the Dental Depot Express is seeing all of the smiles and her favorite sound is the whistle! There are too many types of trains to pick a favorite, so Janis likes them all!
That’s all folks! Stay connected with us on Facebook to keep up with any changes to the Dental Depot Express schedule for the upcoming weekend. And we encourage you to take pictures of your time at the train park and tag us in them when you post on your favorite social media network. We’ll see you soon!

I really appreciated the care and concern that Haley gave me for my scheduled teeth cleaning. She was very considerate knowing about my issue with my jaw which locks constantly. I couldn’t open my mouth as much, but she did her best. Then, she alerted one of the dentists about my issue, and he gave me some suggestions for relief and also a referral for a TMJ specialist who could possibly help me with this issue. I was very grateful and thankful!

I have been coming to the Dental Depot in Highland Village since moving to this area in 2007. It has grown in size and staff but continues to have a very personal and caring touch. Dr. Kana and Dr. Patel have both done extensive work on me. My smile is not poster quality but they keep me married. They have always been very thoughtful of my finances and insurance options and have worked with me to get the best care at affordable prices.
I wholeheartedly recommend this Dentist office.
Update: I’ve seen Dr. Abbott a couple times and he’s a super nice guy too.Juan M.5/04/2022 -
I recently saw Dr. Patel to replace an old front filling. He is an amazing doctor. The shot was super and the drilling was great. I had no pain with anything and the filling is beautiful. He is a brilliant doctor who cares very much for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone with any type of dental issue. You will never be disappointed. Dr. Patel is the best!
Today is April 5, 2022. I just had my 6 month dental check-up and cleaning. Elizabeth, my hygienist is the best. I have seen her for many years. She does a perfect job! Dr. Patel is my dentist and he is the best. He cares about his patients, he explains things well, he is compassionate about his work and his procedures are perfect and gentle. If you need a dental office, I would highly recommend Dental Depot.Rosemary F.4/05/2022 -
Great friendly service! Always welcoming! I have been going there for almost 5 years now and have been treated very well every visit. Elizabeth has been my hygienist and she is always striving to make my visit a pleasant and better than my last. She is outstanding and has been the best hygienist I have ever had! Keep up the great work Dr. Abbot!

Dental Depot has wonderful staff and dentists. They are always prompt with little wait time upon arrival. My girls actually enjoy going to the dentist, and that’s after having some “work” done on some of their teeth! They are great with kids, and help make it a fun experience. I also appreciate that they allow parents to go back to the room with their kids. That was a non-negotiable for me. After taking my kids here several years ago, I decided to make the switch as well, and have been very pleased with their service!
